The birthstone for October, the mesmerising Opal, has a beautiful multicoloured iridescent hue. Believed to stimulate originality and creativity, help to strengthen the memory and express one's true self. 

The Opal is also the 14th Wedding Anniversary gemstone. 

Our opals will vary in colour from paler, whiter shades through to pale bluish greens. 

Each birthstone is 3mm in diameter and is set into a charm with beaded detail measuring 7mm in diameter. These charms can be attached to necklaces, bracelets and drop earrings (as shown in the additional images) and are supplied with a 5mm 9ct gold Jump-ring.
